December brings the season's second big wave of children's activities. Across NCR malls, play cafes and clubs you'll find Christmas craft workshops (ornament and card making, snowman craft), cookie-decorating stations, Santa meet-and-greets, story and puppet sessions, and full winter carnivals with photo setups and activities — several NCR malls run elaborate multi-week 'White Christmas' style experiences with DIY activity huts and weekend story and puppet shows. Most of this is pitched at the 2–8 group and much of it is free entry at malls, with paid workshops layered on top. The programming clusters from mid-December and peaks around the 25th. As with Diwali, the popular dated workshops are listed from late November on the aggregators and fill up, so it pays to look early.
