
• 2 tbsp Yellow moong dal: Washed
• 1 small Carrot: Peeled and cubed
• 1 cup Water
• Small pinch Turmeric
1. Pressure cook dal, carrot, water and turmeric for 3–4 whistles until very soft.
2. Cool slightly and blend to a smooth puree.
3. Thin with warm water or breast milk to the right consistency.
4. Serve warm.
💡 Tip: Carrot's natural sweetness helps babies accept dal early. Reduce blending as your baby grows to add gentle texture.
