
• 3 tbsp rice
• 2 tbsp yellow moong dal
• 1 cup water (more as needed)
• Pinch of turmeric
• Half tsp ghee
• Optional: 2 tbsp mashed vegetable (carrot, spinach, or peas)
1. Wash rice and dal together.
2. Pressure cook with water and turmeric for 4 whistles, or cook covered in a pot until completely mushy.
3. Mash well or blend lightly depending on your baby's stage.
4. Stir in ghee and mashed vegetable if using.
5. Serve warm. It thickens on standing; add warm water to loosen.
