
• ½ medium Lauki (bottle gourd): Peeled and cubed
• As needed Water: For steaming
• Small pinch Cumin: Optional, after 8 months only
1. Steam lauki cubes for 10–12 minutes until very tender.
2. Blend to a completely smooth puree.
3. Add cumin if using.
4. Thin with cooking water to appropriate consistency.
💡 Tip: Lauki has a very mild flavour that accepts other additions well. Mix with dal puree for a protein boost, or with sweet potato for extra flavour depth.
