Oats and Carrot Soup

A savoury, fibre-rich soup that introduces babies to gentle vegetable flavours.

Ingredients:

• 2 tbsp Rolled oats: Ground

• 1 small Carrot: Grated

• 1 cup Water

• Pinch Turmeric

Recipe:

1. Simmer grated carrot in water for 8 minutes until soft.

2. Whisk in ground oats and cook for 4 minutes until thick.

3. Blend lightly to a soup consistency.

4. Cool and serve warm.

💡 Tip: Grinding the oats first keeps the soup silky. Add a little ghee after 8 months for extra calories.
