Rajma Chawal Bowl

A wholesome bowl of protein-rich kidney beans over rice; a satisfying, balanced family dinner.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Kidney beans (rajma): Soaked overnight

• 1 cup Cooked rice

• 1 Onion and 1 Tomato: Pureed

• 1 tsp Oil

• Pinch Salt, cumin, mild garam masala

Recipe:

1. Pressure cook soaked rajma until soft.

2. Sauté cumin, then add onion-tomato puree and spices; cook 5 minutes.

3. Add the cooked rajma and simmer 10 minutes.

4. Serve over warm rice.
