Sattu Cooler Balls

Energy-rich roasted gram balls, lightly sweet and cooling; sattu is traditionally eaten to beat summer heat.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Sattu (roasted gram flour)

• ½ cup Jaggery powder

• 2 tbsp Ghee: Melted

• Pinch Cardamom

• 1 tbsp Milk: If needed to bind

Recipe:

1. Mix sattu, jaggery and cardamom in a bowl.

2. Add melted ghee and rub together until crumbly.

3. Add a little milk if needed and press into small balls.

4. Chill briefly and serve cool.

💡 Tip: Sattu is a traditional summer coolant. Keep the balls small and soft, and chill them lightly before serving.
