
• ¼ cup Rice
• 2 tbsp Moong dal
• ¼ cup Mixed vegetables: Diced
• 1.5 cups Water
• ½ tsp Ghee
• Pinch Turmeric and salt
1. Wash rice and dal together.
2. Pressure cook with vegetables, water, turmeric and salt for 4 whistles.
3. Mash lightly to a soft consistency.
4. Stir in ghee and serve warm.
💡 Tip: Khichdi thickens on standing; loosen with warm water before serving leftovers.
